Marcelo Garcia x Jasper Wong — Tap Cancer Out No-Gi Kit
Released for World Cancer Day, February 4
A collaboration between two masters of their craft.
This limited Marcelo Garcia No-Gi Kit was designed by Hawai‘i artist Jasper Wong and rooted in a painting created live at IBJJF Jiu-Jitsu Con. The artwork weaves butterflies, cherry blossoms, and chrysanthemums into the silhouette of Marcelo Garcia.
Each element carries meaning:
Butterflies symbolize transformation, resilience, and the courage to keep moving forward
Cherry blossoms reflect the fragility and preciousness of time
Chrysanthemums represent healing, endurance, and quiet strength
Together, the composition honors the journey of those facing cancer and the discipline required to keep showing up, on and off the mat.
Translated into motion, the rashguard reflects Marcelo’s approach to jiu jitsu: calm, precise, and deeply intentional.
Built for competition-level performance, the rashguard features:
Ultra-comfortable 6-panel compression construction
Fully sublimated, fade-resistant artwork
Smooth matte finish
Standard Marcelo team fit
